Our story began with Frank “Scotty” McKay, a man with a vision to provide exceptional welding services to the community he loved. Over the years, Scotty’s dedication to quality and his customers earned him a reputation as a dependable craftsman and neighbor.

In 1980, a young apprentice named Jose Medrano joined Scotty’s team. With hard work, dedication, and a commitment to learning, Jose became Scotty’s most trusted employee. When the time came for Scotty to retire in 1990, he passed the torch—and the business—to Jose, knowing the company would continue to thrive under his care.

Since then, Jose and his team at All Weld Iron have carried on Scotty’s legacy, serving Jersey City, Hudson County, and North Jersey with the same values that built the business: family, trust, and treating every customer like a neighbor.
